Our Founder

My name is Susan Binau, I am the founder of Female Courage Foundation.
I was born in Copenhagen in 1964 and am married with four children. Today
I have strong ties to America as I live there and in Denmark. In 2006 I was diagnosed with colon cancer and my life changed drastically!

After surviving the disease I decided to dedicate my life to giving courage and hope to other women. I am grateful every single day that I am alive, that I can help and support my children, my family, friends and so many other people and that I can make a difference.

The Foundation has already grown rapidly which is just fantastic as well a great joy and honor to me and the rest of the team of people who have invested their hearts in the project! We all send our warmest gratitude to you for your participation and support here!
